Help

How buying and selling work here, one question at a time. Where a rule is set by a policy, the answer links to it rather than paraphrasing it.

Buying

Can I buy a garment outright?

A purchase has no deposit, no return and no inspection: it is yours. You choose where it goes at checkout, the seller marks it sent, and you tap It arrived when it comes, which is what pays them. If you never tap it, the order counts as arrived a week after it was sent, so a seller is not left waiting on somebody who has stopped opening the app.

What is a drop?

A limited release from one closet: a window, a set of sizes, and a quantity of each. You pay when you order. Some drops ship from stock within days of opening; others are made after the window closes, and those tell you the date they will be sent before you pay. If a made-to-order drop passes that date and the grace period after it without shipping, a full refund appears on your order page.

Is there sales tax?

On a purchase, where the law requires it: it is worked out from the address you are shipping to, shown as tax on its own line, and paid to the authority rather than kept by us.

Selling

What do I earn?

85% of the price you set. List at $200 and you receive $170. Nothing else is taken out. You do not pay the card fee and you do not pay the postage. The postage is paid by the buyer at checkout and the label is bought with their money, so every parcel is tracked and you never pay at the counter.

What do I need to list?

Four photographs including a close-up of the care label, the measurements taken flat, a price and where the garment is. The label matters: it is the cheapest way to tell two similar garments apart if there is ever a dispute, and a stock photograph never shows one.

Why do you ask how heavy it is?

Because the carrier prices by weight, and a guess is either a buyer overcharged or a bill we absorb. Pick the nearest band when you list, or weigh the packed parcel on a kitchen scale if you have one. It takes a moment and it is the difference between an honest delivery price and an invented one.

I sold something. When am I paid?

Mark the order sent from Orders to send, with the tracking number if you have one. You are paid when the buyer says it arrived, or a week after you marked it sent, whichever comes first. The money goes to the bank account you connect under Get paid.

Why do I have to connect a Stripe account?

Because that is how the money reaches your bank, and it is the only way we can pay you without ever holding your bank details ourselves. Stripe asks who you are, where to pay and for a tax form; it takes a few minutes and is done once. We keep only whether Stripe is ready to pay you. You can list without it, because it is needed before your first payout, not before your first listing.

Do I have to verify my identity?

To be paid, yes: a short check with an identity document, done once. It is what lets a buyer trust a garment from a stranger, and what lets us send money to the right person.

Account

How do I sign in?

With your email address. We send a code, you type it, and there is no password to remember or to lose.

What do you record about me?

As little as the service needs, and you choose whether anything about how you use the site is connected to you at all. See your privacy choices and the privacy policy.

Someone is behaving badly. What do I do?

Report them from the conversation or from their closet page. Harassment, taking a deal off the platform and retaliatory reviews are all against the rules, and a report is read by a person.

Still stuck?

Write to us and a person answers. Say which garment or booking it is about, and we can find it. The contact page lists which address reaches which desk.
